Evesham Cricket Club - About Us

Evesham CC was established in 1854. The Club has played since 1904 on the picturesque "Avon Street" ground which is situated off Albert Road in Evesham on the banks of the River Avon.

Evesham CC runs three teams on a Saturday, three on a Sunday and five youth teams.

The club has a flourishing youth policy and has representative sides at Under 10, Under 11, Under 12 and Under 14 level, including coaching for a girls squad. Youth cricket is organised by a semi-autonomous Young Cricketers' Committee, made up of parents, coaches, club officials and young cricketers.

Spectators are welcome to come and watch and enjoy the peaceful riverside setting. Membership of the Club is open to all, the Club welcomes cricketers of all levels of ability from aspiring first eleven players to newcomers to the game, including boys and girls of all ages. The Club is especially welcoming to volunteers, including umpires, scorers, coaches and those who are willing to get involved in the administration and running of the Club, perhaps bringing business and financial experience to meet the modern demands of good Club management.

The Cricket Club forms part of Evesham Sports Club and is an integral part of the town community.
